The Technology Center is dedicated to providing a secure working environment for the California Community Colleges and its partners.

Technology Center staff work with the Systemwide Security Committee (SSC), a subcommittee of the Systemwide Architecture Committee (SAC). At the request of SAC, SSC collaborated with CISOA to conduct a CCC Systemwide Security Needs Survey in 2005.

The CCC Chancellor's Office co-sponsors the annual Secure IT Conference with the California State University and the Foundation for CCC. The 2006 conference was held in Anaheim in March. More information about the conference is available from the SecureIT Web site.
