The Technology Center serves as fiscal agent for California Community Colleges System Office, and handles payment to contractors, vendors, and the Corporation for Education Networks in California (CENIC), including disbursement and tracking of Telecommunications & Technology Infrastructure Program (TTIP) allocation funds.

The TTIP allocation pays the monthly data usage costs for all colleges under a single invoice, a method that has reduced accounting work formerly required of individual colleges.

The Technology Center also acts as a contracting agent for the CCC System Office, providing contracting services for systemwide technology projects and helping to coordinate and facilitate periodic meetings of the Technology and Telecommunications Advisory Committee (TTAC) and the Systemwide Architecture Committee (SAC).
